About this opportunity
Seed–Series B founders who can't afford a full CHRO but need to hire 10+ people this year. You'll run 2–4 senior searches simultaneously, set up the sourcing + interview process, and build the early employer-brand presence.
Hands-on recruiter + process designer in one person. Closes roles fast, then leaves behind a system the in-house recruiter can run.
Core responsibilities
- Run 2–4 senior searches simultaneously (Engineering / Product / GTM)
- Set up a sourcing-and-pipeline process that an in-house recruiter can take over
- Coach the founder on interview loops, scorecards, and offer strategy
- Build the early employer-brand presence on LinkedIn / Wellfound
- Set up the ATS, structured interview templates, and pipeline reporting
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in tech recruiting, with 3+ leading a recruiting function
- Comfortable in both inbound (employer brand) and outbound (active sourcing)
- Closed senior tech / GTM roles at competitive comp bands
- Strong written communication for outbound + offer negotiations
Nice to have
Not required — but will strengthen your match quality.
- In-house experience at a high-growth startup before going fractional
- Background hiring across both US + international markets
- Experience with Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern ATS tools
