Design Lead

About this opportunity

Seed–Series B teams that need product + brand design work but aren't ready for a full design org. You'll lead end-to-end product design for 1–2 active workstreams, maintain a small design system, and direct any contractors already on the team.

Equal parts interaction designer, visual designer, and brand caretaker. Ships quickly without losing craft.

Core responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for 1–2 active workstreams
• Build and maintain a small design system + component library
• Direct any contractor or in-house designers already on the team
• Pair with the PM and engineers on weekly delivery
• Refresh brand assets — marketing site updates, deck templates, social

Required qualifications

• 8+ years designing product; 3+ in a senior or lead role
• Equally strong in interaction design and visual / brand work
• Fluent in Figma + a modern design-token / component-library workflow
• Track record of shipping at a 0→1 or early-growth-stage SaaS company

Nice to have

Not required — but will strengthen your match quality.

• Brand design experience including identity systems or product launches
• Background as a design contractor or fractional designer previously
• Comfort with motion or prototyping (Rive, Lottie, Framer)
